Membership is granted at the sole discretion of the administration team. We reserve the right to decline any application without providing a reason.
Freediving involves serious risk of injury or death
By booking or attending a session you explicitly acknowledge these risks and confirm you are participating entirely at your own risk.
When booking or participating in a dive session, you acknowledge that:
You may cancel your booking at any time before the session. Please do so as early as possible so other members can take your spot. Repeated no-shows without cancellation may result in a temporary suspension of booking privileges.
Session organisers may cancel or reschedule a session at any time due to safety, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. Registered attendees will see the cancellation reason on the session page.
When using the The Fanatic Freedivers platform, you agree to:
When submitting dive reports, photos, or other content to the platform, you grant The Fanatic Freedivers a non-exclusive licence to display that content within the community platform. You retain ownership of your content and may request its removal at any time.
You must not upload content that is offensive, defamatory, or in violation of any applicable law.
Carpool arrangements made through the platform are entirely voluntary and between members directly. The Fanatic Freedivers assumes no responsibility for transport arrangements, including vehicle safety, punctuality, or any incidents during travel.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your membership if you violate these Terms, the Code of Conduct, or engage in behaviour that puts yourself or others at risk. You may also choose to leave the community at any time by contacting us at dive@fanaticfreedivers.nl.
Important liability limitation
The Fanatic Freedivers is a volunteer-run community organisation. To the fullest extent permitted by Dutch law, we disclaim all liability for injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in dive sessions or use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch courts.
